I think this is a great alternative for young people to learn and earn at the same time.
People have different ways of learning and this initiative by Tesco is an excellent way of tapping in to skills from what could eventually be an excellent development programme
This country needs more organisations with the foresight to invest in its future and the development of those within their organisation. This initiative, I'm sure, will go a long way to maintain employee motivation and engagement.
All we need now is for like minded organisations to follow suit and may be even design a similar programme that helps retain key personnel in the older age groups - especially with in view of the liklihood that the DRA will be removed/altered.
