Since HR launched its Make a Difference campaign back in January we have noted an increasing number of HR directors taking a lead in CSR. Just look at McDonald's, the Environment Agency, Aviva for a start. But there are still loads of people out there in the world of HR failing to get involved. Why is this? Are the arguments in favour of greater involvement failing to convince? And will CSR fall down the business agenda now that we are facing uncertain economic times? If so, it would not only be sad but a disaster.
