I fully agree that to stand any chance of being sustained and really making a difference, coaching needs to be introduced with sympathy for the specific needs, culture and of an organisation. There is no "one size fits all" approach, whilst the passion, direction and drive of the coaching lead is as important - if often not more so - than having senior manager sign-up. The need to recruit the right people to be coaches is a reminder also that it's a fallecy to believe that all are cut out for this role. Good on you, Jackie!
