    The number of applicants for teaching roles has risen by 10% since the start of the recession and more than 80% of teachers are in support of Government encouragement to attract new recruits to the profession.

    I always thought a bit more real world experience would benefit schools. So, if the right people can be attracted, this would be great for education quality. These people can show students with much more credibility how what they learn is relevant for their life in the business world.
