Are companies taking a big risk if HR is not involved in business continuity planning?

If you are relying on people to keep the business going through a crisis or major disruption - whether it's caused by industrial action, bad weather, or a major reputational problem to name a few causes, are HR policies and procedures fit for purpose?  Have you survey your staff on their expectations?

There's a thought-provoking survey being run by the Business Continuity Institute on their website www.thebci.org at the moment, which is worth checking out.
